Winter Park Art Festival Prize Winners
Many congratulations to wood worker Matthew Hatala of Danielsville, Ga., who won the Best of Show award at the 49th annual Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival. His entry in the wood category was titled “Sable Palm.” The top award carries a $10,000 prize. Matthew is a perennial award winner. I hope you have been able to see him and his work at an art fair near you.

Hi Stacy,
She should visit the Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival website: http://www.wpsaf.org and contact the organizers to be put on their mailing list to receive an application for the 2009 art fair. This application will probably be ready in the early fall and she will have to submit for jurying. Good luck!
